memoir: "People" editing sweep through Facebook meltdown

I managed to cut 200 words, at least? Friend of the blog Ninety-Three
argues that the psychosis stuff that follows isn't that relevant to
the Whole Dumb Story I'm telling about the "rationalists". From here
to the end of the post, I want to be significantly more aggressive
about cutting wordcount (and conservative in adding wordcount for the
couple of remaining TODO sections).

I want to keep generalizable intellectual insights, but cut any
autobiographical details or psychosis-dream specifics that aren't
unusually cute or funny. It might be good to open with a high-level
graf or two about why writing about psychosis is hard, but why I have
to say something about it anyway. (If I explain my high-level
takeaways up front, I'll feel less inhibited about cutting details
that don't matter.)
