Given that I currently have a pretty explicit self-link in "A Common
Misunderstanding", and am considering adding another one in "Categories",
and I link to the source in the footer (which surely names me in the notes
somewhere and is also on my real-name GitHub account), the existing language
seemed to miscommunicate the extent to which I care about privacy (as
contrasted to the much weaker goal of this merely not being the _first_
thing Google tells you about me).
_Seemingly_ hazardous but actually careful and humane thoughts about gender, social science, and epistemology, by a man who aspires to something more. Featuring a special focus on the phenomenon of _autogynephilia_ ("love of oneself as a woman") in males, and the project of reformulating liberal-feminist and queer-theoretic goals for a universe where evolution actually happened, introspection doesn't work, and Bayesian reasoning continues to work even when some of the hypotheses are about people.
-I know that my opsec is _really really bad_ and that [pseudonyms don't work anyway](http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2010/08/04/the-information-that-is-needed-to-identify-you-33-bits/), but please don't doxx me. (That is, because my current best guess is that it's instrumentally useful for my gender blogging to take place under a different brand from my personal life and other work, I ask for the social courtesy that discussion of posts published under this name should only refer to this name, even though my real/meatspace name is probably not that hard to find.) Thanks! ♥♥
+This is a pseudonym because it seems likely that it's instrumentally useful for my gender blogging to take place under a different brand from my personal life and other work, but my real name probably isn't that hard to find.
